Do you buy clothing?
Unfortunately, we will not pay cash for clothing. Please do not bring your unwanted clothes to the store. We will consider trading store credit for estate lots of pre-1970's clothing in good condition, by appointment only. Please send any inquiries to: mail@a-hem.net
Do you consign items?
The only items we carry on consignment are from independent designers. We're always looking for wares such as jewelry, accessories, and hand-made clothing. If you are a designer, we'd love to see your work! Our consignment rates are quite reasonable, so don't be afraid to ask.
We do NOT sell vintage pieces on consignment.
Do you carry clothing for men?
Of course we do! We have a great selection of shirts, pants, suits, ties, shoes, and other accessories for guys.
Do you do alterations?
No. As the name may be misleading, it actually refers to an alternate name for a style of skirt: the A-line.
We are not opposed of the idea of an in-house alterations specialist, so if you're good with a sewing machine and are interested in making some extra cash, please contact us!
